Your profile got suspended. Let's get it back.
A Google Business Profile suspension doesn't fix itself. Every day it stays down, local customers searching for exactly what you offer find your competitors instead. We've recovered hundreds of suspended profiles — hard suspensions, soft suspensions, unverified listings, duplicate flags — and we know what actually works with Google's reinstatement team.
Not all suspensions are the same. Getting this wrong wastes weeks.
The biggest mistake people make when they get suspended is filing a reinstatement appeal immediately, without knowing what triggered it. Google has different processes for hard suspensions, soft suspensions, and disabled listings — and the wrong approach for your suspension type will either get rejected instantly or reset the clock entirely. We identify exactly what you're dealing with before we do anything else.
- Hard vs soft suspension identification in the first 24 hours
- Root cause analysis — what actually triggered the flag
- Review of your profile history and any recent changes made
- Check for duplicate listings, ownership conflicts, and spam flags
- Written diagnosis report delivered within one business day
We find every problem before Google does it for you again.
Getting your profile reinstated once is only worth it if the same thing doesn't happen three months later. Before we file anything, we go through your profile with Google's own Quality Guidelines — every field, every category, every photo, every attribute — and fix every violation we find. Filing a clean profile increases the reinstatement success rate significantly and makes it much harder for competitors to flag you again.
- Full 42-point profile audit against current Google Guidelines
- Business name keyword stuffing check and clean correction
- Primary and secondary category validation
- Service area boundary review for SAB businesses
- Photo review — no stock images, watermarks, or promotional text
Google needs proof you're a real business. We build an airtight case.
The reinstatement form asks you to prove your business exists at the address you claimed. That sounds straightforward — but Google's reviewers look at the quality and variety of your evidence, not just whether you submitted something. A utility bill alone won't cut it. We build a comprehensive evidence dossier that covers every dimension Google looks for: physical presence, business legitimacy, and operational history.
- Proof of address — utility bills, lease agreements, council notices
- Business registration documents — ABN, ACN, ASIC extracts
- Operational photos — shopfront, signage, interior, team, vehicles
- Third-party citations — Yellow Pages, Yelp, True Local, industry bodies
- Written evidence narrative tying every document to your case
One shot at reinstatement. We don't waste it.
Google's reinstatement process is not a form you fill out once and wait. It's a structured process with specific channels, specific language, and specific escalation paths — and if your first submission is rejected, subsequent attempts are harder. We write the appeal, select the correct submission channel, frame the evidence correctly, and follow up through Google's Business Profile support escalation pathways when needed.
- Professionally written appeal letter — no template language
- Correct submission channel selected for your suspension type
- Complete evidence package submitted with the appeal
- Follow-up escalation via GBP support if no response in 5 days
- Full status updates at every stage — you always know where things stand
Reinstated once. Make sure it stays that way.
A reinstated profile is not the same as a safe profile. The same vulnerabilities that got you suspended the first time are still there unless you actively close them — and profiles that have been suspended once are scrutinised more closely by Google's systems going forward. We spend the first week after reinstatement hardening your profile against every known re-suspension trigger.
- Business name compliance locked — no future keyword additions
- Category and attribute audit — optimised without policy risk
- User access audit — remove unknown or outdated managers
- Ongoing monitoring for competitor flag attacks
- Monthly compliance check — any change we make, we check against Guidelines
You always know exactly where your recovery stands. No chasing us for updates.
The worst part of a suspension isn't the process — it's not knowing. You've submitted documents, you're waiting, and nobody tells you anything. We give you a live recovery timeline with every step, every submission, and every response from Google logged and visible. When things move, you hear about it before we've even put the phone down.
- Live recovery timeline — every action logged with timestamps
- Proactive updates — you never need to ask what's happening
- Google response tracking — every email logged and interpreted
- Post-reinstatement metric recovery — calls, views, clicks rebounding
- 30-day post-recovery report — full case summary and protection plan
Straight answers to the questions every suspended business asks.
What's the difference between a hard suspension and a soft suspension?
A hard suspension means Google has removed your profile from Maps entirely — it's invisible to customers searching for your business. This requires a formal reinstatement appeal with supporting evidence and typically takes 7–21 days to resolve. A soft suspension means your profile still exists but is unverified or in a "pending" state — you'll usually see a banner asking you to re-verify your listing. Soft suspensions are generally faster to resolve, often through a re-verification code. The most important thing is identifying which one you have before doing anything, because the steps are completely different and taking the wrong path wastes time you can't afford.
Can I file the reinstatement appeal myself?
You can, and many business owners do — but the failure rate on self-filed appeals is significantly higher. The most common problems we see are: filing before fixing the underlying violations (Google sees the same issues and rejects again), submitting insufficient evidence (a single utility bill rarely satisfies Google's reviewers), writing an appeal that's too short or too vague, and using the wrong submission channel for the suspension type. Each rejection makes the next attempt harder. If you want to try it yourself, fix every violation first, compile a thorough evidence package, and write a detailed narrative — not just "please reinstate my profile."
How long does the reinstatement process take?
For a well-prepared appeal on a standard hard suspension, most of our cases resolve within 10–18 days from the date of submission. Some cases with straightforward evidence resolve in as few as 5–7 days. Complex cases — particularly those involving ownership disputes, multiple prior rejections, or profiles with a history of guideline violations — can take 3–5 weeks. We've never had a case take longer than 6 weeks. The timeline is largely driven by Google's internal review queue, which we can influence through escalation pathways but can't fully control.
What if my appeal gets rejected?
A rejection isn't the end — it's information. Google's rejection responses, even when generic, contain clues about what the reviewer found insufficient. We analyse every rejection carefully, identify what was missing or unconvincing, strengthen the evidence package, and file again with a revised appeal. In our experience, a second well-prepared appeal after a rejection has a very high success rate. What doesn't work is filing the same appeal repeatedly or giving up after one rejection. We stay with you until your profile is reinstated.
My competitor filed false reports about my profile. Can you help?
Yes — competitor flag attacks are more common than most people realise, particularly in competitive local markets like trades, legal, and healthcare. We can identify the pattern (sudden spike in "suggest an edit" reports, reviews from profiles with no history, coordinated spam flags), document the attack, and file a detailed dispute with Google's support team. We can also implement ongoing monitoring so that any future user-suggested edit to your profile triggers an immediate review before it goes live. In clear cases of coordinated attacks, we've had profiles reinstated and the false reports overturned within 10 days.
Will getting my profile reinstated affect my existing reviews?
Your reviews, rating, and review history should remain intact after reinstatement — they're attached to your profile record, not to its published status. This is one of the reasons it's important to recover your existing profile rather than create a new one. A new profile starts with zero reviews, zero ranking history, and zero trust signals. Your reinstated profile picks up exactly where it left off. In rare cases involving duplicate listings or profile merges, some review history may be affected, but this is uncommon and we'll tell you clearly if your specific situation carries that risk.
Can I create a new profile while my suspended one is under appeal?
This is genuinely risky and we advise against it. Creating a second profile for the same business location while one is suspended is itself a policy violation — and if Google detects it (which they often do, particularly for the same address), it can result in both profiles being removed and your account being flagged. It also signals to Google that you're trying to circumvent the suspension rather than comply with their guidelines, which makes reinstatement harder. The right move is to fix the existing profile and pursue reinstatement through the proper channels.
What do you need from me to get started?
Manager access to your suspended Google Business Profile. Your business registration documents — ABN or equivalent, and any trade licences relevant to your industry. Photos of your business premises — exterior signage, interior, team, vehicles, anything that proves your physical presence. Any existing utility bills or lease agreements showing your business address. The more of this you can get us quickly, the faster we can build your evidence package and file. Most clients are ready to submit within 2–3 business days of coming to us.
Every day your profile is down, someone else is getting your customers.
Tell us what's happened and we'll give you an honest assessment of your situation within one business day — what type of suspension you have, what caused it, what the recovery looks like, and what it'll take. No obligation and no fluff.
